👋 Hi, I’m Vadym Grin, and I’m happy to have you join me on this journey.
Drawing from my background in psychology and years of exploring the intersection of design with other sciences, I approach my craft as a way to create solutions that truly resonate with people–going beyond surface-level aesthetics and target KPIs.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked with renowned companies and startups worldwide. There, I encountered countless inefficiencies that often hinder the potential of design. That’s why I’ve dedicated my career to developing innovative techniques that help designers produce work that’s not only visually appealing but also effective and emotionally engaging — every single time.
I’ve been fortunate to build valuable products with companies that empower people to save money, live healthier lives, and grow their businesses. In all my projects, my focus has always been on meaningful, impactful design that makes a real difference.
👋 I'm Siavash Memar, a multidisciplinary designer, mentor, researcher, and storyteller exploring the intersections of UX, product design, and digital experiences.
With over eight years of study and work experience in product design, along with a background in urban design and planning, I've developed a deep understanding of systems, interactions, human behavior, and how people navigate both digital and physical spaces.
My approach to writing is to see things differently — to examine them from multiple angles and perspectives. I believe that solving problems requires more than following established paths; it requires experimentation, curiosity, and the courage to challenge assumptions and develop new points of view.
I write to make sense of design-how it works, where it fails, and how it can be made better. Through critiques, essays, and deep dives, I break down the decisions behind digital products, always striving to balance usability, aesthetics, and impact.
The Vision,
I believe great design will save the world. Through Eidos*, I aspire to build a community of like-minded designers who understand and share the knowledge needed to achieve just that.
*In Greek, “eidos” means “visual form,” but Plato also used it interchangeably with the word “idea.” Similarly, every great design decision is grounded in a strong idea.
